His current practice increasingly points toward the esoteric, the mystical, and the religious. Each composition operates as a small altar, both in its imagery and in the painstaking labor of its creation. By pairing meticulous craftsmanship with imagery that draws from both the tangible and the symbolic, his work encourages a slower mode of looking—one that allows ordinary materials to become vessels for memory, spirit, and reflection.

FROM works in ballpoint pen on vellum, creating detailed studies of material—linen, netting, marble, and organic forms such as fruit, flowers, and fish—with an attention and care that approaches meditation. Through repetition and prolonged looking, the familiar becomes contemplative, inviting a deeper encounter between image, material, and time.
