Jamal Hussain is a New Media Artist working at the intersection of technology and science. He is of Indian descent, raised in Miami, FL, and currently resides in Austin, TX. Jamal's background in the technology industry has informed his current practice of using the power of light via the application of media artifacts.
ABOUT.
The aesthetic foundation of his work involves capturing experimental content of the subtle visual patterns, sequences, and movements found within ecosystems. He uses light as both a fragile material and a conscious entity, blurring the boundaries between physical and digital spaces.
