Leah Shirley is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, mosaic, and time-based media. Her practice maps connections between material, light, and symbol, often in collaboration with the sun, planetary cycles, and technologies of the mundane.
ABOUT.
Her practice is rooted in western Hellenistic astrology and weaves in modern techniques, guided always by a deep respect for the chart as a living text. Astrology is a means of meaning-making, a very useful symbolic language and companion for navigating change, cultivating self-trust, and connecting our experience to a larger story.
